The Noida International Airport (NIA) in Jewar, western Uttar Pradesh, is on track to become a major gateway. It will serve domestic and international flights. It will alleviate congestion at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport. It will also enhance connectivity in the region. Trial operations are set to resume on November 15, 2024, with commercial operations expected to start by April 17, 2025. The airport is expected to play a significant role in economic growth for the area.

NIA will offer international routes to Zurich, Singapore, and Dubai via Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines once it opens. It will also offer 25 domestic routes to major Indian cities. Additionally, the airport has formed key partnerships and is prepared to welcome 30 flights on its first day of operations.
